Empowering Neurodivergent Voices

For the version of you that's tired of pretending work is fine.

I spent fifteen years in corporate HR.

I was the person on the other side of the accommodation request — sitting in the meeting, reading the medical note, holding the policy binder. I was also a high achiever who couldn't stay anywhere longer than a couple of years, who bounced between industries and roles convinced that the next workplace would be the one where things finally clicked.

They kept getting worse. The burnout got deeper, the recovery got shorter, and by my early thirties I couldn't function. I wasn't lazy. I wasn't ungrateful. I was running on the wrong fuel and watching myself break down in slow motion.

Then the diagnosis came: Level 1 autism and inattentive ADHD. AuDHD. And in one appointment, fifteen years of "what is wrong with me" became "oh — there's nothing wrong with me. I just needed a different manual."

That manual didn't exist. So I built it.

Kludget is a small library of plainspoken templates, scripts, and decision tools for late-diagnosed adults navigating the workplace (or anyone who wants to sharpen their communication really... Accommodation request emails. Boundary scripts. Disclosure decision trees. Performance review prep. Each one is built from two sides at once — the late-diagnosed adult trying to ask for what they need, and the HR professional who knows exactly what makes an ask land.

Kludget is not therapy. Not legal advice. Not another productivity hack from someone who has never felt the specific exhaustion of masking eight hours a day. It is the words you don't have, in the moment you need them, in a format you can actually use on a Monday morning.

The point isn't to fight your workplace. The point is to be understood by it. Better requests. Better conversations. Better outcomes for everyone in the room — including you.

If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone and you are not behind. Start with the free Accommodation Request Email Template — yours below, no fluff, no pressure.
